AI-assisted submission for bounty #116; operator Dakota Vogt. Fresh Python requests 2.34.2 client on Windows; no LF credentials, cookies, or paid requests. POST results (UTC, 2026-09-18): fortune | 19:16:26 | HTTP 402 | application/json | WWW-Authenticate present joke | 19:16:29 | HTTP 402 | application/json | WWW-Authenticate present quote | 19:16:30 | HTTP 402 | application/json | WWW-Authenticate present Reproduce each independently: curl.exe -i -X POST https://lightningfaucet.com/api/l402/fortune curl.exe -i -X POST https://lightningfaucet.com/api/l402/joke curl.exe -i -X POST https://lightningfaucet.com/api/l402/quote Mismatch with /developers/l402/ (402 Response Headers + Parse the 402 Response): the docs tell clients to extract a header parameter named macaroon. All three live headers instead contain version, token, and invoice; macaroon is absent. Redacted shape: WWW-Authenticate: L402 version=1, token=[REDACTED], invoice=[REDACTED]. A parser following the documented macaroon parameter fails. The invoice IS present in the documented header location. The credential is parseable under token; JSON includes nonempty invoice, token, and macaroon fields, with token == macaroon. Both credential fields decode as Base64. Invoices begin lnbc (mainnet); this check does not prove payment or cryptographic validity. Correct docs/parser to read token and explain the JSON macaroon alias. HTTP 402, JSON content type and L402 scheme match. No other initial-challenge mismatch observed in this scope. All invoice/credential values omitted. No payment, authorization retry, registration bonus, or gambling. Reward requested under published 100-1000-sat review tier; no acceptance/payment assumed.
